The worst thing I can say about this cleanse is that it's too much food, in a day, to possibly eat! Now that my jaw is feeling better I don't have to eat green soup anymore and I am able to munch on apples again. I will have to say I am getting used to the routine now.....lemon water, celery juice, smoothie, apples, salad, etc.
I know my body is cleansing based on a few symptoms:
1. My tongue had this thick, white, disgusting film on it. I felt like I had cotton mouth. Professor Arnold Ehret called the tongue a “magic mirror” because as soon as the body has a chance to diffuse toxins out of the lower digestive organs, it will do so and mucus will migrate up through the lining of the stomach, up the esophagus, and into the mouth.
2. I had become mildly constipated for a few days. I saw this as a "pushing the reset button." Prunes and extra water helped me to remedy this.
3. I was mildly dizzy, like the walking on water feeling, for a few hours. This is a normal detox symptom. Drinking more water helped flush things out and then the lightheadedness went away.
4. I had a headache. As waste moves through, and then exists the body during a cleanse, headaches are pretty common.
5. Bloating....it was something that prompted me to do a cleanse and I was hoping it would go away as soon as I started cleansing. Much to my surprise, it's also a detox symptom. Dr. Nuzum describes it this way: "As your body tries to reach a neutral state, it can create gases that will cause you to bloat. It is another way that the body is ridding itself of waste.
These clues that my body needed some help keeps me going on with the cleanse. I have to say my cravings for sugary and high starchy foods have diminished. The bloating is better today as well. I also have a good amount of energy and my mood seems lifted.
Every day you invest in your health and wellbeing is a good day. Small steps can lead to big discoveries. I wasn't even planning on reading the Liver Rescue book. I thought that there's no way anything is wrong with my liver. Boy, I was wrong and I owe it to Anthony Williams for not being afraid to put something out there that's true and real, that doesn't go with conventional ideas of health, and that really explains how we all got so sick.
