This class will dive into the preventative measures you can take to minimize your risk of getting cancer or prevent a remission from occurring. This class is based on the documentary The C Word and the book Anticancer a New Way of Life by David Servan Scheiber, MD, PhD.


5. BUILD A BETTER BRAIN:  Is your memory not what it used to be? After this last year, does your brain seem wired and tired? In this class we will be talking about brain health. Specifically the lifestyle changes you can make, today, that will help improve your brain's memory, focus, and overall mental health. This class is based on two books: Keep Sharp: Building a Better Brain at Any Age by Sanjay Gupta and Memory Rescue by Dr. Daniel Amen

 

6. THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET: WORLD’S HEALTHIEST WAY TO EAT:  If you are in it for longevity, it's been shown the Mediterranean diet will help you to live longer AND live better. Come learn all the ins and outs of this popular way of eating. 

 

7. ANCIENT APPROACHES TO WELLNESS: There are a plethora of current wellness modalities that owe their popularity, today, to the ancient world. In this class we will discuss these practices and some of the background of how they got started. We will filter through what really is beneficial and what is not.

4. THE WEEKLY FLOW: Did you know your weekly schedule is highly influenced by the energy of the universe? Come with an open mind to this class that is based on the way the daily calendar was designed by the Romans. Each day was designated a specific planet that ruled over it. Planets carry their own energy and this practice was designed around that. What's the best day of the week to rest or to plan a meeting? 5. HYGGE: THE PATHWAY TO JOY: The Danish people are some of the most happy people on the planet and they live in the darkest and dreariest of places on earth! Come and learn about the Danish art of Hygge (pronounced Hoo-ga)
