Days 1 and 2 of Cleanse....Anger Rising

A little background on the liver. I think I have mentioned it before, but the liver is the organ that represents anger. So, it was impossible for me to think of this solely as a physical cleanse. I saw it as a soul cleanse as well. A letting go of any anger that has been stuck there. Both evenings I used castor oil and YL Digize as an oil rub for the stomach and liver. On the first evening of day 1, I felt the anger rising. About little things. It also made me really wanna cry. Another interesting anger element happened on day 2. I woke up, feeling good. Starting sipping my lemon water. I made my celery juice and a smoothie. For a snack, I went to eat my first apple with dates and my jaw HURT. Like, it got stuck at one point and hurt beyond that point. I couldn't eat crunchy foods. I feeling of defeat came over me. Anytime I have a physical issue I go to my Love Thy Body book to see what it represents emotionally and SUPRISE....jaw issues are also related to anger. I remembered something a mentor once told me, that energy doesn't immediately leave the body, it can release and then pop up in another area. Just a lot of anger to process through, I guess. I am trying to see this as positive...that it's making it's way out. A lot of crying done these 2 days. There's definately an emotional side to a cleanse. Onto the physical.....
This cleanse has a lot of apples in it. Apples are the miracle liver food. An apple a day really does keep the doctor away. I began my cleanse by making a lot of applesauce, (see recipe below). Lots of fiber! I also pulled out my juicerA for the daily dose of celery juice. I had to add 1 apple to the juice though. The smoothie was yummy, (see recipe below). I have never tried dragon fruit and it was good in the smoothie. They sell it frozen at Target. So far my biggest problem is drinking the quantity of food needed. The book did mention if you are more on the petite side to 1/2 your portions. Which I did and it seems to have remedied it a little bit.
Bottom line, Day 1 and Day 2....emotional and feeling good physically. Want a copy of the cleanse? Email me at jackieprana@outlook.com
Apple Sauce (it's a crime they charge so much for this in the store)
1 bag of organic apples, chopped with skins on
Water
*Add chopped apples and a little water to a pot. Heat, covered, till soft. Transfer to high speed blender and blend with cinnamon if desired. EASY PEASY!
Liver Cleanse Smoothie
1 banana
1 packed of frozen dragon fruit
1 cup wild blueberries
1/2 cup water
1 scoop stevia
Blend together. Helps if one of the blueberries or dragon fruit is not frozen. Can add more water if consistency is too thick.
