Most of us are completely unaware of the flow of nature's clock. That there are times of the day when it is best to do certain things because the energy at that time is right for it. It is called the Ayurvedic Daily Routine. Without getting too deep into Ayurveda, there are 3 constitutions or energies: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Beyond everyone have a certain constitution for our body, there are also constitutions that are representative at different hours of the day and so, then, there are certain things you could be doing at those times, that would make your day run more smoothly. I have listed a chart with the times of the day and what might be good to do at those times. If you would like a blank pdf chart to fill out for yourself or a large pdf of the chart to the left please email me at jackieprana@outlook.com and I would be happy to send you one. I, myself, just filled out one last night. I have been struggling for a while with my day. It didn't seem structured enough and there wasn't enough downtime. I also, like many, have been feeling way too dependent on technology lately. This way of setting up a routine gave me time for not only work but time to be creative, and also relax. When filling out your chart I ask you, not to strive for perfection but for improvement. Maybe the times don't match up perfectly to your job or whatever, just try and organize as close as possible. If you are a shift worker, I have added a link below with some tips on how to live ayurvedically while working overnight:
